Top 5 library domes in the world, number 4

Continuing my countdown of cool library domes around the world, I’ve been surprised by how many takes on a classical domed rotunda there are. From robots to brain shapes, domes come in a lot of different iterations.
Number 4 – The Mansueto Library at the University of Chicago
In a field of classical domes, the Mansueto Library stands out. It was opened in 2011, and has space for 180 students to sit under the glass dome. The books are stored in high-density storage underground, and they use robots to retrieve them!
